hoe·down
/ˈhōˌdoun/
noun
North American
a social gathering at which lively folk dancing takes place.
We host 3 hoedowns every year here at our farm and we dance right in the tack shop! If you've never hoedown-ed before, you have to try it. No experience required! You just have to know your rights and lefts, and know how to count to 8. You're cheeks will hurt after you're done from laughing and smiling so much.
We also have a love for bluegrass and strings music. Our family is deep into the bluegrass scene and play live music all over!
